Arusha National Park is one of the easiest parks to reach from Arusha, making it excellent for arrival days, day trips, or travelers with limited time.
The park is known for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, monkeys, birds, Momella Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater views, and Mount Meru landscapes. It is also one of the best places for walking safari experiences.
It does not offer the same big-cat density as Serengeti or Ngorongoro, but it gives a beautiful, active, and varied safari close to town.
