Breakfast in Arusha, then depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and possible lions.
Midrange option. Luxury option: Kitela Lodge, Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge or similar. Meal plan: Lunch & Dinner.
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a full game drive. The crater is one of the best wildlife areas in Africa, with chances to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, flamingos, and black rhino.
