These terms explain how bookings, payments, changes, cancellations, responsibilities, and travel arrangements are handled when planning with Njiro Legacy Safaris.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting, booking, paying for, or joining a trip arranged by Njiro Legacy Safaris, you agree to these Conditions generales. These terms apply to safari packages, Kilimanjaro climbs, day trips, hotel arrangements, transfers, and related travel services.

If you are booking on behalf of other voyageurs, you are responsible for making sure each traveler understands and accepts these terms.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

A booking request is not confirmed until Njiro Legacy Safaris has accepted the booking in writing and any required deposit or payment has been received. Availability of accommodation, guides, vehicles, permits, and activities may change before confirmation.

You must provide accurate traveler names, contact details, travel dates, passport details when needed, dietary requirements, medical notes, and any other information required to arrange your trip safely and correctly.

3. Pricing and Payments

Quoted prices are based on the itinerary, travel dates, number of guests, accommodation level, park fees, permits, transport, and services included in the proposal. Prices may change if the itinerary, guest count, supplier rates, taxes, government fees, or exchange rates change before confirmation.

  • Payment instructions and deadlines will be shared before confirmation.
  • Bank charges, transfer fees, card fees, and currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the guest unless stated otherwise.
  • Failure to pay by the agreed deadline may result in cancellation or release of reserved services.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms depend on the package, travel date, supplier rules, permits, park fees, accommodation policies, and any non-refundable services already arranged. Specific cancellation terms will be provided with your booking proposal or confirmation.

Some payments may be non-refundable, including but not limited to permits, park fees, accommodation deposits, bank charges, and supplier costs already paid on your behalf. Refunds, where applicable, may take time to process through suppliers and payment providers.

5. Changes to Your Trip

Requests to change travel dates, routes, accommodation, activities, or the number of voyageurs are subject to availability and may change the total cost. Njiro Legacy Safaris will do its best to assist with reasonable changes, but changes cannot always be guaranteed.

Itineraries may also be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, park regulations, flight delays, supplier changes, or circumstances beyond our control. Any changes will be handled with guest safety and trip quality in mind.

6. Travel Documents and Insurance

Guests are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, travel permits, vaccination documents where required, and any other entry or travel documents needed for Tanzanie or onward destinations.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, delays, lost baggage, personal belongings, safari activities, mountain trekking where applicable, and other planned activities.

7. Health, Safety and Personal Responsibility

Guests must advise Njiro Legacy Safaris of any medical conditions, allergies, mobility needs, dietary requirements, or other important information that may affect the trip. Guests joining Kilimanjaro climbs, hikes, safaris, or outdoor activities must be physically prepared for the activity level described.

Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions from guides, drivers, accommodation staff, park authorities, and activity providers. Njiro Legacy Safaris may refuse or stop participation if a guest creates risk for themselves, other guests, staff, wildlife, or property.

8. Hebergement, Transport and Third-Party Services

Njiro Legacy Safaris may arrange services provided by hotels, lodges, camps, airlines, park authorities, transfer companies, activity providers, and other suppliers. These suppliers may have their own terms, rules, and cancellation policies.

We aim to work with reliable partners, but service standards, schedules, facilities, and availability may vary due to local conditions, maintenance, weather, operational changes, or supplier decisions.

9. Liability and Force Majeure

Njiro Legacy Safaris will take reasonable care when arranging and operating travel services. However, travel includes risks, and we are not responsible for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, road conditions, flight disruptions, illness, government actions, park closures, strikes, supplier failures, natural events, or safety emergencies.

Guests are responsible for personal belongings, travel documents, valuables, and following safety advice. Any claim must be reported as soon as possible so the team has a fair opportunity to help resolve the matter.

10. Questions, Complaints and Contact

If you have a question before booking, please contact us so we can clarify the terms that apply to your specific trip. If an issue occurs during travel, please inform your guide, driver, or reservations team as soon as possible so we can assist while the trip is active.
